The Yoni Connection is owned and operated by Chelsey Brown, MSW, LCSW, TF-CBT. Chelsey is a clinical therapist, womb wellness coach, doula, dancer, traveler, foodie, unofficial photographer and beach lover. In 2018, Chelsey brought her vision to life through creation of TYC in Charlotte, NC. Chelsey created this space as a response to the lack of natural services for womb health in the area and has since serviced over 500 women, as well as trained individuals to provide services of their own. As a natural healer, nurturer and spiritual being, she is passionate about providing quality services that are authentic and honest. Chelsey's motto, "Self-care isn't selfish," serves as the slogan of The Yoni Connection and she hopes to encourage and empower other women to prioritize their needs unapologetically.

 

"As the owner of The Yoni Connection, it is my aim is to reduce stigma and misinformation related to women's health including sexual, reproductive and maternal health. As a woman, specifically a 'brown/black' woman, I understand the lack of information that is often provided, even by our own gynecologists, to aid in maintaining overall wellness using self-healing modalities and natural treatments. There is a need for the services offered at The Yoni Connection, and I am honored to serve as a piece to the puzzle."
